NEW YORK, June 15 -- Delcath Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: DCTH), a medical technology company testing its proprietary treatment method for primary and metastatic cancers to the liver, announced today that it will be added to the broad-market Russell 3000® Index when Russell Investments reconstitutes its comprehensive set of U.S. and global equity indexes on June 26, 2009. According to the preliminary list of additions posted June 12, 2009 on www.russell.com, selection to the Russell 3000® Index means Delcath is automatically included in the popular Russell 2000® Index, which measures the performance of approximately 2,000 small-cap U.S. securities.
