Delcath Systems Technology Profiled in European Medical Technology Publication

NEW YORK--Oct. 18, 2007--Delcath Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:DCTH) announced today that the Company's high dose percutaneous perfusion technology for delivery of therapeutic and chemotherapeutic agents to isolated regions and organs of the body, the Delcath System, will be highlighted in the October 19, 2007 edition of "Clinica World Medical Technology News," a leading international medical technology news publication. The article profiles Delcath in a discussion of three companies that presented at the 15th Annual BioPartnering Europe conference in London, England last week. Delcath also presented at the Biotechnica Partnering Conference in Hanover, Germany last week, as part of its strategy to meet with major European drug, biotechnology and medical device companies to expand awareness of the Company's unique Percutaneous Hepatic Perfusion technology.

BioPartnering Europe facilitates partnering and licensing discussions between American, European and Asian biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. Biotechnica Partnering, a segment of a much larger biotechnology exposition and international trade fair, had attendance surpassing thirteen thousand. Delcath delivered podium presentations at both conferences, and hosted an Open House in London where management introduced the Company and showcased its technology to a select group of conference attendees.

Richard L. Taney, President and Chief Executive Officer of Delcath, commented, "Our European presentations were well received and confirmed the clinical potential for the Delcath System overseas. This initial foray into the international community, combined with our profile in "Clinica," will enhance the awareness of and expand opportunities for the growth and success of the Delcath System in the global marketplace."

The article in Clinica follows a recent article profiling Delcath in New Scientist Magazine. Based on the success of these meetings and the continued progress of Delcath's endeavors, the Company has registered for BioPartnering North America. This conference, in Vancouver, B.C., in February 2008, will provide Delcath the opportunity to continue to build its international reputation as the global leader in percutaneous perfusion technology.
